“I suffer from Epilepsy.
I used to work for Solway Foods in Corby. The company had changed my role, and moved me onto the production line, against my concerns and previous company advice that I should not work on a production line due to my disability.
My concerns were ignored. I had a fall whilst at work but was put back to do the same job. I was forced to leave, as I could not risk having another injury and not having access to my son.
Solway foods had a duty of care to make reasonable adjustments for its disabled employees but putting me on a production line against professional advice was against the law. NREC helped me win my claim for constructive dismissal and for disability discrimination. They represented me at the employment tribunal.
