Covid-19 and inequality/discrimination: Parliament Calls for evidence

NREC would like to respond to the Parliamentary Select Committee consultation (see link below) on the effects of Covid-19 pandemic (and the government’s response) for people with protected characteristics.

The NREC Chair is happy to pull information together and draft a response, but she needs case studies and examples. These can be anecdotal.

If you or others are aware of any issues, examples or casestudies they would be gratefully received. The Select Committee are also asking about things which need to change in the next 6 months to promote greater equality or stop inequality. The link to the consultation and guidance is below.

Could you send any examples, case studies or other evidence from your own experiences/knowledge to: melanie.crofts@dmu.ac.uk by no later than the 23rd April as the deadline for submission is the 30th April.
